Toy Review – VTech Sit to Stand Learning Walker

The Sit to Stand Learning Walker by VTech is a walker and learning toy combined into one toy. In addition to learning to walk, your baby can have fun exploring the colorful barnyard theme panel. The sturdiness of the walker allows your baby to learn to walk without the walker moving too fast (common complaint with other walkers). From the educational perspective, your baby will learn their shapes, colors, animals and musical tones from the panel.

Features of the Walker:

  • Removable panel so baby can sit on the floor and play or play with it on the walker
  • Plays music and sounds
  • Easy grip handles
  • Sturdy wheels
  • 5 piano keys plays music
  • 3 spinning rollers
  • 3 light up shape sorters
  • Telephone that comes off the panel
  • Open and close barn door
  • Spinning gears
  • Runs on 3 included AA batteries
  • Use from 9-36 months

A few complaints:

  • Music is loud and can get annoying because songs run into each other if your baby keeps pressing buttons on the panel.
  • Even though the walker is sturdy if your baby is pulling themselves up on it they can fall if the walker rolls away or it tips over as some user complain.

For a walker the Sit to Stand Learning Walker is a decent buy for the price. The dual purpose makes it more functional and useful! I like it but if you all ready have other music making toys such as the Learn and Groove Musical Table, the panel is not significanlty different than that.
