Photographing Your Baby

As parents, we spent a lot of time behind the lens, trying to capture those perfect baby moments. As an amateur photographer who has zero interest in taking photography classes, my pictures are average at best. I get what I want but they are not perfect. In comes the book Your Baby in Pictures: The New Parents’ Guide to Photographing Your Baby’s First Year by Me Ra Koh and your pictures will be turned upside down. This is a wonderful book that has step-by-step guides, lessons, tips and ideas on how to get the most out of your camera and your baby.

If you recently purchased one of those fancy SLR cameras or have a simple point and shoot digital camera but don’t know what to do with it besides take pictures in auto then Me Ra Koh will show you how to best use your camera. You will even learn how to take great pictures using auto, as long as you learn the best angles to take pictures, time of the day, location etc. The book is even broken down by age so you know how to take pictures and what moment to capture at each step of the way up till your baby’s 1st birthday.

This easy to read and easy to use book is a perfect gift for parents -to-be. With new cameras and new babies it is the perfect time to learn these tricks of the camera. I just ordered the book because with a 3 month old in our house I figure I still have some time to learn from Me Ra Koh and capture my baby’s milestones leading up to her 1st birthday.
