The Chicco Polly Magic Highchair is a “luxurious and easy-to-use highchair that will accommodate your child from birth through toddler years.” With all the features you can imagine in a highchair, the Polly Magic is a decent deal for its price of $180.
- Infant insert fits infants for bottle feeding (not intended for extensive infant use)
- Folds to less than 10 inches
- 3 recline
- 6 height adjustments
- 3 footrest heights
- 5 point harness – adjustable to 2 heights
- Easy to clean padding – made of phthalate free vinyl
- Locking caster wheels
- Magic Snap tray – snap from the top , one handed removable tray with a tray cover
- Fold away armrest so toddlers can sit at table
- Large basket for storage
- Some assembly required with easy to follow instructions
The Cons:
- Nooks and crannies in the padded seat makes cleaning difficult
- Tray insert too big to fit in some dishwashers
- No tray storage when highchair is folded for storage
Knowing that the Polly Magic is made by the highly esteemed Chicco company makes it worth looking into. Personally, I am not sure it is worth it for the price. Sure it has many features, but you can find less expensive highchairs with great features. I am not sure how useful the need for infant use is, especially if you all ready have a swing and bouncer for your infant. It does not look stylish, unique or like a piece of furniture to make it stand out from other highchairs. It is an average highchair for a relatively high price.
