The PlayBase Plus is not the first tablet built for kids but it is the newest one available. The price seems steep for a tablet that is lacking in many areas. The audience for the tablet is kids yet the tablet is not loaded with any kid-friendly content except the YogiPlay. The biggest selling point of the PlayBase Plus is the animocrobial screen. If you do not want to give your child your iPad and you are looking for a child friendly tablet then the PlayBase Plus is one option but consider the other kid-friendly tablets (Nabi, LeapFrog’s LeapPad, VTech InnoTab, Archo’s ChildPad, Vinci, Meep!) before you buy this one.
