Going back to work after baby can be scary, daunting, nerve-wracking and tiring. If you plan on nursing at work, there are a few things that can make it easier to do. One of those items is the Simple Wishes Hands Free Breast Pump Bra. Designed by 4 sisters who are also mothers, the Simple Wishes Bustier is made for multi-tasking moms.
Due to a 10 inch velcro back panel and a 2 front zipper panel, the Bustier is made to fit any size woman. Four layers of fabric secure the pump to the bra so you can reliably pump hands free. It is easy to use, comfortable (soft and stretchy) and works with all major breast pump manufacturers. The Bustier has 2 adjustable straps so it can be worn as a halter, racer back or tank style and is available in two colors, black and light pink.
Most users love the flexibility and freedom of the Bustier but the few issues are:
- Lack of cup support – especially for bigger women
- Outline of flange holders can be seen through thinner clothing
- Velcro in back can get uncomfortable
As a result of these issues, many women choose to change into this bra once they start pumping. It is not ideal for some to wear all day but on the other hand some women are fine wearing to and from work.
Some women have claimed to wear the Bustier and pump while driving but I would not recommend it because you can get distracted and therefore it is not safe to do.
As a pumper, I can see how the Simple Wishes Hands Free Breast Pump Bra would be so useful. I did not go back to work but when I pumped, it would have been nice to be hands free to do other things even at home. Overall, I am a fan and think it is a great buy for about $35.
