My daughter is a mover when she sleeps so I have to put her in a sleeping bag at night just to keep her warm/comfortable. Since the nights are warm, I put her in thin cotton sleeping bags but as the nights will soon enough get cooler, I will have to layer her up OR I can put her in the Aden & Anais Cozy Sleeping Bag that was sent to me for review. I have written about Aden & Anais in the past but let me remind you about how great their products are.
Made of 4 layers of 100% soft, cotton muslin, the sleeping bag is perfect for keeping baby safe (due to the breathable fabric) and warm. The light, open weave allows a baby’s body temperature to regulate itself naturally helping to prevent overheating and it gets softer every time you wash it. Designed to be worm over pajamas, the sleeping bags are the perfect wearable blanket. For easy diaper changes, the zipper open from the bottom to top.
I love the Aden & Anais Cozy Sleeping Bag because it is thick enough to keep my daughter warm yet still breathable to prevent her from overheating. I chose to review the “jungle jam” pattern which consists of yellow giraffes (she has too much pink at this point) but I think all the 8 patterns are fun and stylish. Aden and Anais also makes Classic Sleeping Bags which are just a single layer of muslin cotton (thin like the swaddles). The classic bags are great for the summer and warmer climates. I am a huge fan of Aden & Anais swaddles and now I am a huge fan of their sleeping bags.
For $45 you can buy your baby a Cozy Sleeping Bag and be prepared for those cold winter nights that will approach us faster than we want them to!
