Mimijumi Bottle Review

If you are looking for a bottle to help your baby go from breast to bottle, mimijumi, LLC makes bottles that are “natural, modern and stylish complement to breastfeeding.” Mimijumi “is a design driven company that specializes in simple, safe and natural products for the modern family.” The Not So Hungry Bottle (4 oz) and Very Hungry Bottle (8 oz) have a unique nipple that is designed to mimic the breast, thereby providing a natural feeding and latching process. The natural colored and textured nipple is meant to resemble an actual breast. The baby must latch onto the bottle to express milk which is exactly the way you want it to be in order for it to resemble breastfeeding as much as possible.

Features:

  • Easy to clean – only 2 parts and wide opening
  • Integrated ventilation system prevents colic
  • Screw on one-piece nipple
  • Skid-free bottom
  • Top rack dishwasher-safe
  • Bottle made of Swiss polyamid plastic
  • BPA free, latex free, and EA free

Beyond the functional features, the mimijumi packaging is fabulous. The natural and red bottle packaged in a milk bottle shaped box is super cute and fun.

I have not tried this bottle with my daughter since she is on sippy cups but knowing the problems I had getting her to take a bottle, I wish I had discovered the mimijumi 8 months ago. These bottles may have been our solution to her bottle refusal. If you are wary of giving your baby the bottle or if your baby refuses the bottle, try the mimijumi – the reviews have all been fantastic!
