Nothing is better than a movie in the theater than a live show. DreamWorks Animation and Global Creatures bring the How to Train Your Dragon Live Spectacular to an arena near you. Created by the same producers of Shrek and Madagascar, the How to Train Your Dragon Live Spectacular Show has proven to be a raving hit in Australia, New Zealand and the US. Inspired by the movie How to Train Your Dragon, the show features more than a dozen dragons (some with wingspans of up to 40 feet and fire-breathing), Viking warriors and world-class circus artists and acrobats combined with a heartwarming story.
“Based on the book by Cressida Cowell, it centers on Hiccup, a Viking teenager who doesn’t fit in with his tribe’s longstanding tradition of heroic dragon slayers. Hiccup’s world is turned upside down when he encounters a dragon that challenges him and his fellow Vikings to see the world from an entirely different point of view.”
A show meant for the whole family, How to Train Your Dragon Live Spectacular involves the audience by utilizing the entire venue with state-of-the-art animatronic technology and large-scale cinematic projections. This is a show not to miss! I am so excited to see it when it comes to San Jose during the holidays. It will be the perfect holiday treat for my family!
