As a busy mom, I was given the opportunity to review Eye Majic – a unique way to apply eye make-up fast and efficiently. I don’t usually wear make-up on a daily basis so I was very skeptical when I was asked to review this product. I am not much of eye shadow wearer so that is what made me hesitant on top of the application method. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it!
- Peel off the plastic film covering from the color side of the applicator.
- Press applicator against eye lid – the applicator is like foamy with the color on one side so press the color on the eye lid for 4 seconds – place the applicator as close to your lash line as possible.
- Slowly and firmly pull the applicator away.
- And its that fast – the color will have transferred to your lid and you are ready to go (you can use the back of the applicator pad to blend the shadow).
I was sent 2 different box samples (with 2 applicators per box) – they were not colors that suit me so I tried the Eye Majic when I knew I was going to be home. It was easy to apply but it did not turn out perfect on my first attempt. My subsequent tries looked better. I actually gave a blue one to my friend to try because the color would suit her better – she liked it!
Would I buy Eye Majic? Well I have a mixed opinion – yes it does make eye make-up application easy so if you don’t know how to do it or don’t have the time to apply eye shadow then this is ideal for you. The downsides are the limitations in colors, color combinations and the not so cheap price. If you don’t use eye make-up often then the cost is not too bad but overall a palette of shadows will be cheaper in the long run plus you can tailor the colors to your mood or outfit.
