DadGear Vest and Cargo Jacket

Hands free and baby do not work together. Even if you do not need a lot of baby gear there are minimal baby items you need when you leave the house. That means carrying a bag and most dads are not willing to carry a “girly”diaper bag. So what is a dad to do? Well DadGear has the solution! Their Diaper Vest and Cargo Jacket allow a dad to be hands free but still stash all the baby essentials.

Diaper Vest & Cargo Jacket:

  • Anti-pill fleece material and durable zippers
  • 2 zippered chest pockets – holds wipes, cell phone/mp3 player with headphone access, etc…
  • 2 large interior pockets for diapers etc..
  • 2 bottle pockets on either side that lay flat when not in use
  • Slim changing pad included and tucks in back pocket
  • Sizes M, L, XL, XXL – sizes run larger than normal to¬†accommodate baby essentials
  • Machine washable
  • Jacket is exactly the same as the vest but with sleeves
The one thing about the DadGear jacket and vest is that they are expensive ($79 for the vest and $89 for the jacket) and unfortunately can’t be used year round. They are great in the fall and spring but winter and summer are hit or miss. Useful and practical but not very useful in certain climates and seasons. If you are willing to spend the money for the jacket or vest and use it when weather permits then this is the way to go. If you are looking for something that is useful year round than you may want a diaper bag (dad friendly). I love the idea but not the price for the
