An amazing book that I recently stumbled upon is Food for Thoughtful Parenting by Nina Coslov and Tara Keppler. The authors and moms, Nina Coslov and Tara Kepler were kind enough to send me a copy to review. Coslov and Keppler took nuggets from their own parenting experiences and wrote a book that helps parents adjust to their new role as mom and dad.
The book is categorized into 12 easy to read chapters with each chapter further divided into bullet points for easy reference. The bullet points are not simple, basic topics but are actually concrete ideas that are helpful and achievable. The goal is to make parenting fun. Yes parenting is challenging but it can be exciting as outlined by the authors. Using humor and creativity they were able to write a book that appeals to all parents regardless of parenting style. Topics covered range from mealtime to playing indoors to family relationships to everything in between. The authors include anecdotes from their own life to make the points even easier to relate to and understand. This compact 75 page book is 7 x 7 inches and 1/4 inches thick. A must read for parents with babies or young children!
