1. Walt Disney Animation Studios The Archive Series: Walt Disney’s Nine Old Men: The Flipbooks by Pete Doctor – $60

Box set of 9 books pays tribute to Disney’s original animators, the 9 old men – Les Clark, Eric Larson, Frank Thomas, John Lounsbery, Ward Kimball, Ollie Johnston, Mark Davis, Wolfgang Reitherman, and Milt Kahl. Each flip book features a scene from an animated Disney feature in its original line-drawn form. The films featured include Alice In Wonderland, Dumbo, Fantasia, Peter Pan, Bambi, Lady and the Tramp, 101 Dalmatians, and Pinocchio. First time these sketchbooks have been released to the public. Great for people who love animation or Disney.

2. Poster Art of the Disney Parks by Danny Handke and designed by Vanessa Hunt – $40

This large 11 x 14 book is filled with attraction posters from Disneyland, Walt Disney World, Disneyland Paris, Tokyo Disneyland and Hong Kong Disneyland. The book is divided into 9 chapters of themed areas, like the parks. Each chapter begins with text explaining the themed area and then posters from that area to follow. The posters are the eye-catching pieces that have been placed throughout the Parks since 1956. The posters are meant to create excitement and provide information about that particular area at the park. While the posters change through the decades and vary from Park to Park, the magic and spirit of Disney is still evident.

3.  A Disney Sketchbook by Ken Shue – $50

This large 152 page book is a collection of sketches from various Disney animators  throughout the years. The sketches go through the history of Disney from Steamboat Willie to as recent as sketches from Tangled. Most Disney films and sorts are represented in the sketches, with some films/shorts only having 1 sketch and others having as many as 10.

4. Disney Trivia from the Vault: Secrets Revealed and Questions Answered by Dave Smith – $10

Over the years, the now-retired Chief Archivist of The Walt Disney Company, Dave Smith, has answered over 1,100 questions regarding Disney trivia. The book is a collection of the most popular interesting questions, divided into chapters from Disney history, Disneyland, Walt Disney World, Disney films, Disney television and Disney characters. Some of the questions unveil Disney secrets that have never been told before.
