Even though I am not pregnant and do not plan on being pregnant ever again, I was sent a copy of the Knocked-Up Fitness Prenatal Pilates DVD Series (2 DVDs). Erica Ziel, Master Pilates Instructor and Core Specialist released this series for expecting moms to help prepare their bodies for labor, delivery and recovery. The videos “engage, strengthen, lengthen and tone the core, uppers and lower body muscles, while also improving posture, flexiblity and metabolism.” The interval routines in the videos are meant to be mixed and matched and modified to work with your needs. Perfect for all stages of pregnancy and even after. I received the DVDs for review and I have been doing the exercise videos for some low-intensity exercise. They are fun and not too daunting that you won’t want to do it. When you are just too tired to hit the gym, these videos are the perfect way to exercise. I really do like the videos and think you would too if you give it a chance. I appreciate being able to exercise at home without an excuse about why I can’t go to the gym.
