Nameberry’s List of Popular Names of 2013

Last week, Nameberry released their list of popular 20 Unisex names of 2013 (so far),  popular 100 boys names and popular 100 girls names of 2013 (so far).

Top 5 Unisex names – Quinn, Rowan. Sawyer, Kai, Avery

Top Boys names – Asher, Finn, Declan, Django, James

Top 5 girls names – Imogen, Charlotte, Harper, Eleanor, Violet

Nameberry differs from the Social Security list in that they predict and find names that are not as common but likely to show up on current lists. Social Security releases their list based on trends that have occurred. While the Nameberry list is not what is actually happening, it is still fun to read to see what may happen with names. Either way, if you are looking for a name for your baby, the Nameberry list may be a fun way to start.
