Little Passports Review and Giveaway

Disclosure: I have received the Totseat to facilitate to my review. All opinions are 100% my own.

Summer is over which means the travelling season is coming to an end. Even though the kids are back in school, as parents we can still encourage travel via Little Passports. Little Passports is a monthly subscription service which “inspires your child to explore the world or the USA.” Every month your child will get a package in the mail where they “follow Sam and Sofia on their on their exciting adventures around the USA and the world.” Your child will develop a love for the world and the USA as they experience geography, history, culture and language.

Little Passports offers 2 packages:

  • World Edition – first month’s Explorer Kit arrives in a suitcase filled with a letter, map, stickers, access to online games, passport etc and then every subsequent box follows Sam and Sofia in a new country; 5-10 years old
  • USA Edition – First month’s Discovery Kit contains a letter, USA Field Guide, USA Scratch Book, map and camera and then every subsequent box follows Sam and Sofia into 2 new states; 7-12 years
A great thing about Little Passports, not only is the excitement and learning to be had but the customized subscription service. You can pay for the service on a month-to-month basis or sign-up for a set number of months in advance.

My kids are lucky enough to travel but with school in session, travelling is on hold for a few months so when Little Passports offered to send my children the Explorer Kit for the World Edition I was pleased to keep the travelling bug alive. My sons were so excited to get their very own awesome suitcase in the mail. Inside the box we found a realistic looking passport with spaces for your child to fill out their own information and place their picture. In addition there was a letter from Sam and Sofia explaining their magical scooter that takes them around the world. The rest of the items included a picture of Sam and Sofia on their scooter, stickers of Sam and Sofia, a world map, a boarding pass which allows your kids to go online for more games and finally an activity sheet. Solve the puzzles on the activity sheet and your child will find out the country that Sam and Sofia will visit next.

I absolutely love Little Passports to teach my children about the world. They are too young for the USA edition but for right now the World Edition is right up their alley (well my younger son loved the suitcase but my 6 year old loved everything in the suitcase). What a great gift for friends of kids to learn geography and everything associated with exploring the world or USA

One lucky BabyRecs reader will win a 3 month subscription to Little Passports (choose between the World or USA Editions) just by entering the giveaway.
