Everything we do this day is electronic and digital but there is something special about an actual baby book. It is a keepsake that your child will have forever and can hopefully pass down and share with their children. Parenthood Listography: My Kid in Lists by Lisa Nola is a unique type of baby book that is not time consuming like most others. It is the best way to record memories without being your typical, standard baby book. If you are the type of parent who probably won’t keep a baby book, maybe Parenthood Listography is the perfect compromise. The book is comprised of 60 unique lists starting from the beginning such as names your considering, things happening in the world when baby was born to advice for your future. As your baby progresses in life, the lists go to your child’s biggest tantrums to a list of things you pretended to be and do. On the opposite page of each list is a beautiful and sometimes quirky watercolor paintings by Kyle Pierce. At the end of the book is a section to record the typical milestones such as first tooth, first foods etc. There are also a few blank pages to include pictures or anything else important you plan to save.  When read as a full book, Parenthood Listography tells the story of your child’s young life. It allows parents to record and remember parenthood as it is, with its trying moments but also with its amazing and unforgettable moments.
