I had the amazing opportunity to meet a Joovy marketing contact at the Baby Shower last week. Did you know that Joovy not only makes baby gear but they just released Boob Baby Bottles and Dood Cups. I went home from the event with a few Boob bottles and a Dood Drinking Cup to check out. I am quite impressed with how Joovy really thought about everything when it comes to their Boob and Dood line.

My daughter never took to a bottle or a soft or hard spout sippy cup. Once we started solids and started giving her a cup for water we tried the soft spout cups but mostly she bit on the nipple to get the water out. Then we gave her a hard spout nipple and she did not like it. She quickly learned how to use a straw cup and which has made our life so easy. She now takes are milk, water etc from a regular cup with a straw (we have to hold the cup still) or from a straw sippy cup. I had a few straw cups but needed more so I decided to try the Tommee Tippee Explora Truly Spill Proof Straw Cup!
Another company that I discovered at the Boom Boom Room is Zak! Designs. Since 2000, the company has created tableware, serveware and kitchen prep products that are functional, fashionable and fun. Zak! Designs also creates fun dinnerware for children in many licensed characters. Made of very durable melamine plastic, the products are all BPA, phthalate and lead free.
This past weekend I had the unique opportunity to attend the Pre-Golden Globes Event the Boom Boom Room. Aside from getting excited about seeing celebrities (yes I love it) I had an amazing opportunity to sample many new and existing baby/mommy products. These next few weeks are going to consist of reviews of products that you will be happy to learn about.
Here is a review of 4 Philips Avent products that I received:

As consumers we are all aware of the dangers with plastic bottles. Even though BPA bottles are readily available and more widespread than ever, there are still risks. BPA-free bottles can leach chemicals and petroleum by-products just from normal wear and tear. I had heard of Pura Stainless but never thought about trying their bottle
