This past weekend, I was lucky enough to take my family to California Adventure, thanks to the generosity of Disney. We don’t live close enough to Disneyland to go there very often, but we are also close enough to drive down for a weekend trip. We chose to go to California Adventure this time because we had not been there in a long time and I wanted to take my daughter to the all new Frozen show.
Disney/Pixar’s Finding Dory was an amazing movie. I had the opportunity to take my family to see it earlier this week and we all loved it. If you have any time in the next few weeks to take your kids, do not miss out on the chance to see it while it is in the theater.
Disney’s Zootopia is one of the best animated films I have seen in a long time. I took my children to see it on Monday and we had a zoo of a time. Sure to entertain the young and the old, Zootopia has something to offer people of all ages.
Disney-Pixar’s The Good Dinosaur Release date: November 25, 2015 (USA) Director: Peter Sohn Luckily for young Arlo, his parents and his two siblings, the mighty dinosaurs were not wiped out 65 million years ago. When a rainstorm washes poor Arlo downriver, he ends up bruised, battered and miles away from home. Good fortune shines on […]
All the reviews are saying that Inside Out is so creative and Pixar’s greatest. From the perspective of an adult, I agree it was smartly done, but I do have a warning if you plan on taking younger children. If you see trailers, Inside Out looks like it will be a super fun movie […]
Disney’s Tomorrowland releases today! Don’t get too excited, the convoluted plot makes it challenging to follow. Jumping from the past to the present and the future in a 2 dimensional world is confusing. I took my almost 6 year old and almost 8 year old to see the movie. My oldest son appreciated the movie (did not love) […]
I took my children to see a screening of Cinderella (2015) this week and I am so glad I did. It was a fantastic real (non-animated), straightforward re-telling of a Disney classic.
Last week I went to a screening of Disney’s McFarland, USA and was so happy that I went. I usually do not like sports movie but knowing this was a feel good movie based on a true story, I figured this one would be a little more up my alley, so I went to see it.
Walt Disney Animation Studios’ all-new short “FROZEN FEVER”, which welcomes Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and Olaf back to the big screen, will open in theaters on March 13th, in front of Disney’s CINDERELLA, a live-action feature inspired by the classic fairy tale.
Last night I took my boys to watch a screening of Disney’s “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.” Based on the very popular children’s book written by Judith Viorst and illustrated by Ray Cruz, the movie follows 11 year old Alexander who experiences the most terrible, horrible day ever, due to one disaster after another.
Ever since Disney’s Aulani Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, on the island of Oahu, opened in August 2011, my husband and I have had it on our bucket list of places to visit. This year when we talked about our June vacation, the obvious place for us to visit was Aulani. Despite it being summer and close to its peak capacity, we knew we had to go, it was about time.
The second installment of Disney’s Planes series, “Planes: Fire and Rescue” comes out on Friday, July 18, 2014. I took my family to see it last night and it was a hit in our family. Last year’s Planes did not do well with the critics (and adults) but it did well with the kids. On the other hand, Fire and Rescue did much better with the critics and of course your children will love it!
